What American MPAA rating would you give Ring 0?

I live in america and I would like to know what MPAA rating this would fall under? I know USA didnt give one but what would you give it? PG13 or R and why?

reply

PG13 most likely, just for scary scenes.

The only Ring movie that would get an R (or higher) is the ORIGINAL "Ring", which was made BEFORE "Ringu" was. There was, like, hardcore sex. Naked Sadako. Father daughter incest. Boobies. And i'm not kidding either... it's called "Ring: Kanzenban" if you wanna find the video.

Aren't you referring to the original sequel (rather than prequel) of Ring?

A translation is Ring: Spiral, and apparently it flopped big time at the box office, so the filmmakers decided to discard it entirely and start anew, ending up with the "official" sequel, Ring 2. The film you describe sounds similar to what I've heard happens in Spiral.

EDIT: What am I talking about? I'm thinking of Rasen.

The only time this movie touches on R rated themes is the last 15 minutes of the film.
