With an excellent '50s atmosphere, tention every minute... Everything is PERFECT!.
And the end of the movie... damn... Its outstanding...

Yeah, I totally agree.
After watching it I was so stunned, all I could say was
"Ohmigod!" over and over.
And then I cried....
I hadn't long been in NYC and the thought of it being blown up TOTALLY was just too much - all those people.
And what an awesome responsibility for POTUS.

I remember watching this back in '00 when it was aired live, and re-watching it, it still gives me chills when the decision is made to bomb New York. I haven't quite forgotten this film, and by pure chance, I had stumbled upon a copy of the original book at a discount book store. I would not be surprised if I had commented on this exact message board some years back as well.
