One of the finest films I've ever seen
Dark Days was incredible. Period.
The mood, the atmosphere, the stories, the people, the cinematography, the MUSIC! This film just moves you so much - you really get to know these homeless people and feel their pain, happiness, and exhaustion along with them. Considering Marc Singer had never even seen a professional video camera before this, he did an incredible job. Hell, even if he was an avid filmmaker this would still be an incredible job!
If you have not seen this documentary, see it now.
FYI, a few of my favorite movies are (in no particular order and excluding Dark Days):
1. Lost in Translation
2. 25th Hour
3. Rushmore
4. Rear Window
5. Before Sunrise
6. Sideways
7. 8 1/2
8. Ghost World
9. Pulp Fiction
10. About Schmidt
11. Citizen Kane
12. Adaptation
13. Royal Tenenbaums
14. The Life Aquatic
