The build up was CREEPY af, then it just fell flat on its face during...

the 3rd act. You kept wondering wtf was going to happen the entire like first hour of the movie. It was quite unsettling honestly because you knew some nasty *beep* was going to derive from everything that was happening. The entire atmosphere was just so eerie too. Thats probably what made it so damn creepy. The torture scene was underwhelming though and then the ending made no damn sense to the point it was comical.

Its like the movie was relying entirely on its atmosphere and build up for such a *beep* resolution like the one that was finally presented at the end.
