Mouths don't match the audio........

Did anyone notice that the mouths don't match the audio very well. It almost seems that their language is being dubbed or something odd happened during the editing process.

Actually most voices you hear in professional films are recorded in a studio after everything has been shot, as a process called ADR. Every line is re-spoken into a microphone, so if noticed some of them out of sync its probably just a bad job done by the actors, as you are supposed to repeat until it matches the on-screen lips exactly. Can't have been too bad though as I have seen this several times and have never noticed anything - not to say its not there.

That's not true. Sound is recorded separately from the image, but generally simultaneously. ADR is only used when the original audio is trash.
