This movie reminded me a lot of Fargo. Of course it was different in many ways, but the humor was similar as were some of the characters. The main characters in both movies were normal people who got into financial trouble and let the desire for money turn them bad and ruin their lives.
I dont know. I just watched this, and didnt see greed as being an element at all. It was pure chance that drove all the events in the story. I can see some loose plot connections to Fargo, but nothing beyond most other movies in this genre. I dont think any of the defining elements of Fargo are present here.

Can I say Scorcese-esk? This had the same feel for me. Reminds me of some of his films. Loved it!
