OK - I was watching this movie on Sundance on demand AND THE FREAKING MOVIE ENDED. For some dumbass reason the movie was listed as 1h 32m but obviously its longer
- Tum was going back to her apartment for the last time (presumably), was in the elevator, and the two gangsters & their underlings were engaged in a Mexican standoff and the cops had just burst in........
...what happens after that? Freaking VOD screwed me over cause I don't know.
She runs into her downstairs neighbor who starts a fight with her. The cops have a standoff with both sets of gangsters. The phone rings and they all start shooting. She arrives and everyone is dead. She picks up the phone: it's her obscene phone caller. She takes the money out of the toilet tank (guess that's why it wouldn't flush) and starts to pack but then realizes it's blood money (she has a fantasy of it being covered in blood) so she takes it to the lake and throws it in. Also, she burns her passport. She takes her bird and a few other things with her in the truck and hits the road and the credits play over her driving.
I'm sure you have been wondering about it for the last four years...
