Watched it again recently...

And it is still remarkably good.

I got to see the original subtitled non censured version ofthe TV show, and it is glorious Sci Fi in anime at its best :)

Not for young kids by any means (pretty violent and scnatily clad voluptuous women, often showed bare breasted in the serie's beginning, are plentyful), Cobra is definitely among the best the 80's Japanese animation has produced.

Sad that it is vey unlikely that any channel in the US would show it these days though :/
