New 'Cobra' animation in the works.

Both a new OVA series and a new TV show were announced in January: http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2008-01-15/cobra-the-space-pirate -returns-in-video-tv-projects.

Now, a second new Cobra the Space Pirate OVA project has been confirmed: http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2008-04-12/2nd-new-cobra-the-spac e-pirate-ova-series-confirmed.

Buichi Terasawa himself will write and direct the first, 4-part OVA series.
