I need help
I really want to get into casshern stuff, but I dont know which movie or series to start with.
Happy endings are just stories that haven't finished yet
I don't believe the original series from '73 is on DVD here in the U.S. Casshan is out of print since ADV is no more, but I am sure you can probably find it. Ignore the 2004 film's U.S. DVD as it's missing about a half hour. I imported my copy from Thailand for $10. But I believe the 2 Disc DVD is now out of print. The 1 Disc DVD is $8.50 on eThaiCD.
The story is pretty much the same, but the experience is different with each story. Casshern is a man who is turned into a robot who must fight the Black King to save humanity. My first introduction into it was through the 2004 film and I thought it was f'in' awesome. The 1993 anime Casshan is four 20 - 30 minute episodes and it pretty much rehashes the whole story within a 2 hour time frame. Casshern Sins is twenty-four 20 - 25 minute episodes.
