I just saw this movie on HBO and noticed Dex was having a Fat Tire at the pool party. Certainly one of my favorite beers when I travel out West, and here's hoping it migrates to East Coast one day.

When I went to school at Ohio University I got Fat Tire all the time.

Since I've been off the road, I've started to miss it. It is on tap in a lot of places in Phoenix.

There was also a Fat Tire poster in his house, I think it was the bedroom. Excellent ale. Fat Tire and Anchor Steam are my favorite American beers.

I remember my first experience drinking this beer was about 15 years ago in San Francisco. I found it amusing it was classified as an "import" on the receipt, given that is is made in San Fran. Of course, I realize this is because it was from a smaller brewery and more expensive, but I found it funny.

I wasn't even aware that beer was this old, it only started showing up in the Chicago area in the last year or so.

We have had it in Georgia now for a few years, at least. Others here introduce me to it. They have it on draft multiple places and sell it in stores, along with other beers by the New Belgium Brewing Company.
