How do you throw the banana peels??

I've never been able to do that. But have seen others do it. How the heck do you throw those darn banana peels, instead of dropping them behind you??

Thank you speedracer2k

I was really not expecting a reply so soon, since hardly anyone gets on this board. It's good to see that someone else enjoys the older game systems. I'm probably considered an old school gamer. Are you??

reply

I'm mainly on the Xbox 360 now, but I do enjoy old school games. Streets of Rage 2, Mario Kart 64, Star Fox 64, and the 6-player X-men arcade game are some of my favorites.

I'm in my late 20's, so I grew up with all the old, old game systems. At one point when I was little, my family owned an atari. That's how far back I go. Over the years, we've owned the original sega and the original nintendo. Finally, my parents bought the original playstation, then I bought a PS 2, from there, we got an N64 from a relative. Oh yeah, I also played some very old 80's and early 90's computer games too. Those were the good old days. Back when I was a kid and carefree and had fun.

My brother and I weren't allowed to have video game consoles in the house, yet we had a ton of games for our various Macintosh computers. So I'd be playing SimCity, Doom, Dark Forces, Descent, and a lot of user-made games. It wasn't until I got a Gateway and started using emulators to start playing a ton of old school games.

So did your parents not like the idea of having a video game consol where you and your bro might waste time?? I was kind of in the same boat, except that I wasn't allowed to watch a lot of movies and shows, such as the Home Alone movies and the Simpsons. My mom always said that the Simpsons were a disgrace to the human race. But I remember watching one or two episodes with my cousin. The two I watched (and I don't know if you ever watched the Simpsons as a kid or if you do now) are the ones where Bart gets hurt and they put him in an ambulance only to have him roll out the back and down a cliff and the other is when the mom tells her daughter to clip the cat's claws and right at that moment, we see the cat walking by on his or her claws because they had gotten so long.

They felt that they were a complete waste of time and money, plus they feared that my grades would go down.

They actually didn't let us watch The Simpsons as well; this was back in the day when Bart was the focus of the show. They didn't want us getting any ideas from the show, plus Bart usual showed a lot of disrespect towards his parents.
