The music on the American DVD...

okay, so I just watched Tokyo Raiders and LOVED it! I'm a huge Ekin fan, and I like Tony Leung and Kelly Chen as well, so it was nice to see them all in a movie.

Anyway, I should have known after buying the "Vampire Effect" that most of the American DVDs of HK films are edited in someway. So during my American DVD of Tokyo Raiders, I noticed that the vocal songs were all in English. I then watched the "Making of" featurette, and they advertised two Cantonese vocal songs that were connected to the movie that I never heard in the movie. I remember one was called "Magic"...were those songs actually in the movie and I just missed them, or were they taken out of the American version of the movie? Or were they just tied-in with the movie for radio use or something? I will be so angry if the American DVD changed the songs... XD

I doubt that the music was changed there. My Hong Kong version of the film has some songs in English, for example when Macy is alone, cold in the phone booth.
