Tootsie ignored ?

This remake is good not only because it is very tastefully done but
also because the makers were honest enough to acknowledge the source of
inspiration- Mrs. Doubtfire. The latter being released just 5 years
before its remake, it was fresh in people's memory and the remake
factor of Chachi was apparent. What people missed though is that Chachi
420 has actually drawn heavily from one more movie - Tootsie (1982)-
starring Dustin Hoffman (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0084805/). Chachi
is thus a hybrid of Tootsie and Mrs Doubtfire.
