Should Ana Maria Orozco appear in Ugly Betty?

I just wanted to start this topic, to see if other "Yo soy Betty la fea" fans felt the same way.
When I heard that the producers of Ugly Betty wanted to include the "Mexican Betty" in the show,in a small cameo part, I just went nuts.
Seeing that Ana Maria Orozco's performance is irrefutably the best one of all the others that followed, if anyone should be given the honor to appear in Ugly Betty it should definitely be her. I'm sure that they are doing this, because of ratings and financial reasons, and the actual acting ability of the actresses is not in question at all here. Ana Maria Orozco could pull off any role that they could give her, I'm sure of that. She is that good.

America Ferrera don't look like a very friendly person.

Plus if Ana Maria Orozco appeared, she would be the pretty one and this show unlike the originial one, the North American show hated pretty people.

Like it already been said, "Orozco is way above anyone in Ugly Betty so a cameo part would be demeaning".

Angelica Vale who played Lety on the Spanish version appeared on the English version---guest starred on the last espisode of the season. So, if one cast member made an appearance, it's very possible Ana Maria will also make an appearance.

Lety is awful!! (Is not Bety, in first place... is "Lety") The spanish version is the colombian!

Yes! It would be great! Bety la fea was a hit here in Argentina... We Just love the colombian Bety... the first one! Yes! Yes! Yes! Ana Maria should make an appearence on Ugly Betty... As Beatriz Pinzón Solano before fashioned! hahaha!

Why don't we just put subtitles on the original, in all its lovely quirkiness...?

Or perhaps just (shudder) dub it for the benefit of those illiterate yanquis.

Letty is the mexican version not the spanish, and yes it's awful

Ana Maria Orozco appearing on Ugly Betty? that would be interesting indeed, but what kind of role would she do? a relative?? or just somebody who has to do something with the fashion industry??

Ana Maria should make an appearance in Ugly Betty as Beatriz Pinson Solano.

Perhaps Mode magazine has to make some sort of deal with Ecomoda, and Beatriz finds Betty in the same state she was in when Cecilia Bolocco first finds her, and she gives Betty some advice.

I don't see why the Mode-universe and the Ecomoda-universe couldn't coincide.
