Any 'My Hero' Fans Left Out There?

Never tried the IMDB blog/threads before, and i thought it's the best way to keep a dead show alive; My Hero for example.

Anyone out there still watching it? I like to think it's only an elite few that are still into it. Wish i could go back to the days when it was on tv..

I'm in the US, so the only way I can watch it is to buy it. I haven't bought it in a while -- I like it, but there are other shows that I want to purchase first. Good luck to you, though!

I'm a fan, though I only saw it for about 6 months when it was shown on my local PBS station in New York City. [In case you don't know (I assume you live somewhere in greater Angle-land), PBS is the national government-supported and partially-funded over-the-air broadcast television network in America.] It was terrific. I haven't even seen it offered for sale in any store I frequent. I don't buy many DVDs (I don't want a "collection", because they end up sort-of owning me, rather than me owning them, if you understand), so I haven't seen the show in a few years, but if it were shown somewhere on Cable-TV, I'd certainly record it and watch it.

My hero ran on our PBS station for around a year and I loved it. They didn't run the last season when Ardal O'Hanlon left and was replaced. I have the series on DVD and have watched the ones with O'Hanlon over and over again. I've never watched the last series...I love My Hero. The cast was perfect, and the episodes were funny.

My Hero is now on Netflix or at least it's on the UK version Netflix.

I'm a fan! I really enjoyed the program. I too watched it on PBS. Great show!

I noticed this show on our local PBS station after running into the "The Detectionists". My Hero is being shown next to it. It doesn't look like my cup of tea though.

I run across many British TV series on You Tube and Hulu. I have a full blown TV and a regular computer and don't try to watch anything on some hand held device.

I don't know everything. Neither does anyone else

I miss this show too. It always made me laugh! They took it off YouTube recently so I may buy the DVDs. I wish the episodes were easier to find.

It's good to see there are other fans.

It started airing on our local PBS station about 12+ ? years ago. I had a DVD recorder hooked up to the cable so I recorded all the eps. This was only because I was a big Ardal O'Hanlon fan. It didn't take long to discover this was as much fun as Father Ted and been a huge fan of the series ever since. Season 6 never aired here but there is always the internets to get things. Season 6 isn't too bad. But Mrs. Raven is always the best.
