Since Hollywood has discovered reboots (Batman, The Incredible Hulk, Star Trek) Dinotopia is in desperate need of one. I remember the miniseries and I was disgusted. The acting was so pitiful, it was just unwatchable. I refused to watch it only after a few minutes, it was so bad. Also, since the plot didn't resemble the book at all, it was just a spit in the face. If James Gurney can choose the right people, Dinotopia has a chance to be an a brilliant movie.

The hopes of a reboot will be in my prayers.

usually i would say remake or animate. but when i saw the animated version. I could say no difference in bad. But i would think they should stay clear of the same director who did Eragon. So it could have gone better but the storyline left too many plotholes. Though it was a continuing series, and the technology was advancing to make it. Maybe complete computer generated might do some good. But who to direct? and what should the new version be titled? Or should it stay the same title but change the characters? So many questions.
