Coming to US Blu-ray on October 4, 2016

Mill Creek has announced a HD remastering of the original four-hour mini-series, to be released on Blu-ray on October 4, 2016.

This is a two-disc set, with part one on disc one, and parts 2 and 3 on disc two. That is an improvement from the old DVD, which was on two discs, but simply ended in the middle of a scene at the end of disc one.

The new Blu-ray has beginning and ending credits for each of the three episodes. Each episode runs just shy of an hour and a half.

The aspect ratio is listed as 1:78-1. I'm not certain if that's the correct aspect ratio, or not.

Ordered it, though every time I watch this series it makes me want to pull my hair out.
