Does Don Fernando Die???

We have a running joke in our Spanish class that Raquel is runnig around the would for episode after episode while DF is on his deathbed. I just watched the final episode and it show him laying in the bed. Does he kick the bucket??

I'm goin' into high school at the end of the summer, and thanks to my formal principal being a douchebag and an idiot, I was placed in Spanish 5. I'm about the level of Spanish 2. So my mom and grandma, having the series left over from one of my mom's college courses she tried to make up, have begun forcing me and my sister to watch.

Really, I don't see the point in Don Fernando's continued existence. We just finished episode 18. If I remember correctly, Angel's dead, Rosario's already dead. Like, the whole thing was for him to see his kid and wife, right?

Realistically, I'm pretty sure he'd die by episode 25 or so, and I don't see the point as far as plot goes in keeping him alive. I dunno.

Maybe I'm just harboring vengeful thoughts about every character because I hate the show with a fiery passion.

He does not die by the end, but the actor who played Don Fernando, Augusto Benedico, died shortly after filming ended

"...the actor who played Don Fernando, Augusto Benedico, died shortly after filming ended"
Probably from the horror of acting in Destinos.

Come on, the show is not *that bad*. It's a little thin towards the end, but the early parts were OK (except for the review portion, which was horrible, but my grade rested on that, so I had no choice)

...He actually died before filming even finished.

I liked the show. Just finished episode 52 tonight.
