Hulk Hogan verus Macho Man Randy Savage: Epic

That was easily one of the best matches either one has ever had. It was just an electric environment with Hogan going after Savage's belt and the angle with Elizabeth handled well. I like the interaction with her in the match. She tried to console Savage, while he was down outside of the ring, only to have him verbally berate her, much to the chagrin of the audience, and then take his anger out on Hogan. It made him all the more hateful an opponent. Finally, the referee had to send her away to keep her from being a distraction or interfering like she did when she prevented Hogan's attack outside of the ring. Savage threatening her and taking advantage of her compassion made him for all the more of a heel. He didn't want her sympathy or support, he wanted to win and to destroy Hulk Hogan. He busted Hogan open, injured his throat against the guardrail, and fought like a man possessed. Yet, in the end, Hogan kicked out of the elbow drop and won with his finisher. I think Macho reacted well to the Hulk Up sequence as well. He started to back away, then turned for a quick cheap shot which Hogan blocked and countered. All in all, I'd say it was one of the grander main events that WrestleMania has had.

One of my very favorite WM main events. Savage was heel to a tee, running from Hogan, feigning punching Elizabeth, constantly going after Hogan's cut eye and bumping like crazy. Hogan stepped up his game as well really selling the Mach Elbow before powering out of it. But at the end of the day it's really a Testament to how good Savage was considering he carried Hogan here and Warrior two years later to two incredible matches...love the Sideshow Bob sig btw.

This town needs an enema!

No doubt. They worked it wonderfully, it was a brilliant match and an excellent climax to a wonderful feud and a pretty great evening in general.

God's finest creation!

I think this is Hogan's best in ring performance

My favorite Hogan match at WM would be a close call between this and Warrior.
