What was with the wife in scene where she gets dressed in Black dress?

SPOILERS!!
I watched this film again yesterday & didn't get one thing. There's a scene where Alberto is home & his wife sends their son off to his friend's house for the evening so they can be alone.
Everything seems to be going along swimmingly between Alberto & Elena. She gets all dolled up in this nice black dress. Alberto is looking approvingly at Elena & they start kissing & making out.
They start getting rather passionate & Alberto is unzipping her dress & suddenly finds a retail sales tag ON her dress. She just starts freaking out & accusing him of all kinds of stuff.
And I just don't get it. First of all, not sure why she left the tag on the dress, (LOL) but Alberto doesn't say "hey, YOU BOUGHT ANOTHER NEW DRESS!!!!", (l0l) so don't know why him finding the tag sets her off. I know she knew already about the hotel receipt but why then does she bother to get dressed up in the 1st place & want to get romantic with him if she is only going to accuse him in the end? Do you follow what I'm saying on this.....???

She's upset because he ruined the romance of the moment and she's disappointed with herself for forgetting to remove the tag. That's all. You know, a stupid little trivial thing can set off a whole avalance of emotion because they are already a couple with their relationship in danger. They both know this.

I agree--somewhat. I think she's realized that Alberto (her husband) is just "going through the motions" of making love to her and that his heart belongs to someone else. She's realized--somewhere deep down--that she's probably lost him forever. She's angry and hurt and sad, all at once.

I can resist anything but temptation.
