There probably saving her for Resident Evil 12: Sole Survivor.

Just kidding. Frankly, not a lot is known about her true fate, since her death is one optional ending of RE1. It is commonly believed that she escaped together with Chris, Jill and Barry (although there is no ending of RE or REmake that features this scenario), and went into hiding after Chris and Barry left for Umbrella's European headquarter. I don't think she was in Raccoon City when the T-virus spread began (like Jill), she probably went to family, away from Umbrella's clutches, since she was quite young and had experienced so much trouble already. Little more is known about her, although there is much speculation.

Well, remember Resident Evil 0 takes place before the original game. Once she and Billy parted company, she went to the mansion to hide in. (Where Chris met up with her later).

I'm a bit Rebecca fan damn it, I hope she made it out :( It would be sweet to show her in a new game, but hopefully not in any of the Resident Evil movies. They need to revamp the RE movie series and get back to the roots.

For goodness sakes, these games are begging to be made decently on the big screen!

I kind of agree, that Becky should be kind of hav a Ada-esque to her. They can use her leather outfit in the next game, and hide her true identity until the end, and she is also working with same corp. as Ada. That would be weird, and 4 sum rwason want sumthing like that to happen.

RE 5 is about the remaining STARS destroying Umbrella in Europe.

well, the canon is that Jill, Chris, Barry, and Rebecca survive. However, in the game there is no scenario that all of them survive. Since only Jill, Chris, and Billy r accounted 4 we can 4 sure say that Jill's good ending is this. If u can find me a document or sumthing that says she survives(besides chris's ending and that one user made video to make it look like that). on the 2nd part of ur response, how do u no that??

Do you even know what canon means? If its canon then it happened. The four of them survived despite what happens at the end of RE 1. Capcom hasn't really used Rebecca much because she lacks fan appeal. The fans don't really much care for her or Barry. Don't get me wrong, some do but not nearly as much as the main characters. She'll probably be mentioned or be back entirely in Resident Evil 5.
And I see some of you who think Rebecca went to work with Ada and Wesker. All I need to sat to this is "what!?" That's the most random thing I've ever heard. Rebecca lacks sex appeal, she's not that strong, she's still a kid compared to the others, and she pretty much screwed Wesker in the first RE. I'm sure Wesker is just dying to work with her.
And gmh, please tell us how you know the plot of RE 5 when Capcom has not said anything about it except release the trailer.

a file found in the police chief's office in RE2 states that becky is alive and in hiding along with the other survivors of the mansion incident.

OK lets see something here. Theres a file in resident evil 2 in the stars office at the police station, that explains that rebecca died. Dont ask me anything about this im just reading what it said.

Fact: Rebecca is alive
Evidence: 2 files in RE2, one states the survivors of the mansion incident include Chris, Jill, Barry, Rebecca & Brad. The 2nd file is written by Rebecca herself talking about Billy Koen.

Sidenote: I also found this at GameFaqs.com - "More fuel on the fire for the "Becky is an Umbrella spy" people, I guess.." - I had NO idea my theory was shared, I thought it was just some insane thing I came up with.

I know this thread in ancient, but Rebecca will finally be returning in Resident Evil: Vendetta, a CGI movie (in the vein of Degeneration and Damnation) set to be released next year, which will serve as a prequel to Resident Evil 7.
