I don't get it

I've sene reviews for resident evil for the gamecube and the same game for thw wii..gamecube game has good ratings and the wii game has poor ratings..why is that? The wii game is an exact copy of the camecube game..so if the gamecube game is good wouldnt it stand to reason that the wii title is great. Is it because people think it's bad because there are no changes? The archives version of resident evil 1 on the wii is an exact copy of the gamecube version..and people still love that one..so whats the difference? The controls? They didnt update them? They didnt update them for the archives game and people still love that game. My only guess is that the wii controls dont jive well with the two player system that zero has. is that the case?
