Time Conflict?

Alright, I'm sorta confused here, so maybe someone could help me...

In the first book, Perry states that the Bravo team leaves only hours before Alpha starts to look for them. How in the world does that leave time for Rebecca to do all of the things she did in 0 and STILL get into the mansion and do all of the things she needs to do in there!

I can't seem to remember what they say in the games, but I'm pretty sure it's the same thing...

Someone help me with my confusion!!!

This game takes 2 years before the first one.

This game takes 2 years before the first one.

No it doesn't. It takes place approx 12 hours before RE (1).

RE0 takes place maybe a a few hours, or maybe a day or two before RE1.

The game's timeline, dates from files, etc are cannon.
