No you douche it was more than just the design it was the whole concept of modding and programming and and I think he wrote computer programmes to simulate the mod etc. The kid was smart but he had ADD.

he meant he should be holding down a career job rather than hanging out in a barn with low life criminals.
It was an obvious exaggeration to the kid's natural abilities. Considering the comment came from Brian who is a pretty intelligent person and the fact that Dom called him the "mad scientist", everyone knew he was smart, but lacked the attention skills to prosper in a regular environment.
