Was quality until the end

Spoiler alert!

This is a film that contained a lot of components which needed exploring, and to a degree, that was accomplished, but it culminated in a cheap B-movie ending with the young girl drugged at the wheel of a car and the boy who accompanied her on the drive for her safety makes no attempt to prevent her from driving anymore when he clearly should. As she is slowly fading behind the wheel, he sits there like a rock, saying and doing nothing, yet fully aware her mental/physical state could be in jeopardy and allows her to crash the vehicle. Cheap! It would not have taken much to close this sucker with a bit more impact.
