I watched this a couple of years ago and have always remembered it though I didn't visit this site back then. I have identified it a couple of times at movie ID sites since then.

I just finished watching "Beautiful" (2009) for the first time and was looking for something else when I came across this. It's about a half-hour into the story, but I think I remember enough that it won't bother my enjoyment. Unfortunately, after checking the schedule, it's not going to be aired again during the next several days. I think I'll keep checking the channel just in case.

i'm here, i'm here :-)

i leave now and again to do other things, but i'm always here in spirit (hee hee).

oh, b.t.w. - this is an entertaining thrill piece. it's persistently erotic (overtly and subtly), involves characters who are in the arts (and therefore relatively amoral - a great ingredient in a good thriller), has a couple of nice twists, good looking actresses, a low budget (adding to its grittiness)...oh and it features rutger hauer playing semi-vegetative for most of its running time (which is a distinction in itself) :-)

I'm here, but I can't say the movie is all there. I'll follow Virginia Madsen to B-movie hell and back, but I don't think this is one of her better films. I found the story convoluted and, aside from Virginia and Rutger Hauer, the performances pretty awkward. Like the largest voting bloc here, I gave this 4/10.
