'I was made to Love Her'

I was reading an issue of Maxim Magazine yesterday from uerly 2001, and it said that this movie (Called "I was made to love her" at the time) was supposed to star James Gandolfini as the fat, white dude that Chris Rock was supposed to be re-incarnated into.

Anyone know what happened there?
