I personally like it alot, I have no idea why other people don't see it as a good movie.

don't really know how you can describe a remake as unique, whats more this is a remake of a remake of a movie based on a play, I dunno how far removed you have to get from the source material before the studio says "Maybe this isn't such a good idea"

I liked it and thank God did not see the previews incarnations so I can enjoy this film by itself.

Then you have incredibly low standards,are very, very easily amused, and are either blind to, ignorant of or forgiving of horrible film writing and production. Good for you. Life will be nicer, if significantly more shallow, for you.
