Live Action Movie would Kick-Ass!

I would just like to say that I think that a live-action movie of the 1980's G.I. Joe cartoon would really kick ass. It would blow Transformers out of the water. If your going to make a movie based on 80's toys or cartoons; then why not the best one around. Any other opinions? Love to hear them.

I think whoever plays Snake Eyes should be someone with extensive martial arts training, like a Ray Park or an Ernie Reyes Jr....

I'm strictly a Cobra Fan but I think two ideas posted here from WinfieldFan are great:

They sound perfect...

As for Storm Shadow, whatever happened to Sho Kosugi? He was every Storm-Shadow like ninja in all those '80's ninja films...anyone agree he would be perfect?

I never liked the cartoon Major Bludd but the comic one (in the first 19 issues of Marvel) had more cheek and cruelness at the same time with his stupid poetry and thoughtless killing of Scar-Face who saved him...

So my vote is Johnny Depp for Major Bludd...I think Depp could combine the evil and humor without making Bludd just a cheesy necessity.

Baroness..I like the idea of outsourcing for the role...someone who doesn't natively speak English...but who?

Oh, and was it you WinfieldFan who recommended Ben Kingsley as Mindbender?

That's a great choice, although I'm hoping that the characters stay mostly towards the original 19 Marvel comix..

NOTE: I WOULD DEFINITELY LIKE NOT TO SEE THE FACES OF THE COBRA COMMANDER AND DESTRO NO MATTER WHO PLAYS THEM, AS WAS WITH HUGO WEAVING IN V FOR VANDETTA...

Sadly this is about to happen... and the people they chose for the roles are HORRIBLE. The movie looks HORRIBLE. Im so mad.
