To me, this movie is the best movie that Faten Hamama and Ahmed Mazhar made together.
The story was completely romantic, which is very touching the way it was written by Taha Hussain and directed by Barakat.
I think it's a magnificent piece of work.

shareThis was a movie where a mom and her friend kept telling me that it's so great! I'm not one to like romance movies so I didn't pay attention. I just watched it recently and was awed by it. It's so much more than I'd imagine!
shareI just watched it and I was surprised what a great movie it really is. Its average rating on Netflix is 2.9 stars (out of 5). I can't understand that at all. This movie was amazing. I think it's just ignorant people who can't appreciate an Arabic movie ("oh no, I have to read subtitles, how will I survive!?"). I rated it 5/5 on Netflix and 9/10 on imdb.
Faten Hamama was incredible in this movie. I'd like to see more of her movies, but unfortunately, this is the only movie of hers that's available on Netflix. Netflix really needs to widen its Arabic selection... I wonder if any of her movies are on Youtube.
