The best voice acting I ever heard in a game

definitly the most evil laugh ever

And the meaty text is just superb. Kain's commentaries on his weapons are amazing. He could just say, "Implode collapses my opponent, killing him instantly.", but no! He savours it and comes up with:

"Implode: Of all the methods I employ, this is perhaps the cruelest, causing my victim's body to shrink on itself, crushing bones and rupturing organs 'til the pressure inside bursts the sac of fleshy skin spraying its contents for all to see."

Whoo-freaking-rah! That's extremely sadistic and visceral and shows who Kain is even through lousy weapon descriptions. Heck, listen to his speech outside of the plague village.

And the voice acting never really goes down a notch. Even in the otherwise subpar Blood Omen 2, the voice acting is still high quality. And in Soul Reaver, the way Raziel says "over time we became less human and more...divine..." with that perfect pause...beautiful.
