darren in the ice cream one

I love 'teenage sidekick' roles, like Raymond (Rasmus Hardiker) in Saxondale.
They provide much needed sarcasm!
...& remind me of just how much I DON'T CARE about the lives of the main characters,
I just like them getting wound up. ^-^

Anywho - the guy who plays Darren is Kristian Tiffany, he's a writer for Galaxy 105 radio in Leeds.

He plays a pretty typical teenager alongside Peter Kay but his other well-known role is the exact opposite:
he played Jesus in LAOS's (Leeds Amateur Operatic Society) stage production of Jesus Christ Superstar in 2005 & he played his part incredibly.
I don't think there's one bad review out there, they all praise him along with the rest of the cast & you'll never guess what...THE BOY CAN SING!!!

Darren: "I came as quick as I could."
