Keanu singing

I loved it near the end when Keanu serenades Charlize's character..It's so sweet and romantic.

Does anybody know what song he's singing?

Thanks in advance!

I thought he had a horrible voice.

Isn´t he a singer in a band or something?

I think he does the vocals in his band, but then a lot of "singers" out there can´t really sing... Take Six Pistols for instance: the band was great, but Johnny Rotten sounded like an elephant being executed with a jackhammer.

Keanu played bass in his band. In an interview for this film, he said that he doesn't sing in his band, and that when you watch the movie you'd know why.

Well, I can't tell how he's singing, because I haven't seen this movie. Yet.

But in his band "Dogstar" he was not the lead vocalist - he was the bassist. I've read, that this band does no longer exist: "Dogstar is history now. The group finished the work."

Actually, "Dogstar" had quite a good rock-sound, frontman Bret Domrose had a really good voice; and e.g. they toured with Bon Jovi through Europe in the mid-90s. Today, their 3 albums are rarely to get.

He shouldn't be recording an album or anything, but I didn't think he was bad at all, especially not for an amateur. His voice had quite a nice, smooth quality and his pitch was never too far out.

keanu sounds pretty crappy, in my opinion

I thought the scene was meaningful as far as what he was trying to accomplish. But he really couldnt sing at all. I think he only plays bass on his band though, i dont think the members would let him take on vox.

The song is called "Time After Time" and is an old jazz standard, and you can find it performed by many different artists. (Note: It's completely different from the Cyndi Lauper song of the same name.) If you want to find a recording that resembles the performance from the movie, the Chet Baker recording has a similar arrangement.

The song that Keanu Reeve's character sings is an old standard, called "Time after Time". I would imagine it was not as important for the character to deliver a show stopping performance, as it was to make the gesture for Sarah and expose a vulnerability. It was not a dreadful performance, his pitch was decent, he was not supposed to be a great singer, so his technique was that of an amateur, which fit well into the story, I think. "Time After Time is a great old tune" I am alwyas so happy when an old song finds new life via a vehicle like this...

I tought he sang very bad.I mean,it was a romantic song " Time after time",and he sounded very forced to seem romantic, the role doesn't fit him,he doesn't even look handsome despite his white tuxedo and the song. His voice did not sound really sweet and romantic. It was like if he was talking with music in the background.I tought he was really a bad singer and he ruined the moment...
