I never understood why she smothered her children with a pillow to kill them and yet uses a gun on herself and died painful unlike her children. Why didn't she just shoot them all?
Any theories?

shareI guess maybe she went crazy and smothered them but couldn't smother herself so she used the gun. I think she probably just grabbed the pillows at that crazy moment and followed through. Had she gone for the gun maybe she would have calmed down and not killed them.
shareGunshots leave the victim looking a mess. Smothering leaves them looking asleep. Women who commit suicide tend not to use guns for that very reason. She probably couldn't face the notion of blasting her kids apart.
