Gavroche never ages? hmmmm

did anyone else notice than when Jean and Cosette first arrive in Paris, and Cosette is still a child at the time, they meet Gavroche but than 10 years later he remains the same age? He is a highlander or something?!

I know this is a very late reply but I've just watched the movie and I came here just to ask the same question .

it's just weird because 10 years later he would have been as old as Marius and the other Les Amis which is just stupid

This is the best question to ever be asked about any movie.
I'm watching this right now and am so confused.
Is this supposed to be a symbolic thing or did the director just think he could get away with it?
