Gein killed 2 hunters

It is not documented due to a lack of physical evidence but common sense tells us that Gein murdered 2 hunters in his hometown, two men who disappeared near his property, does anyone else know of this?

There's a bit more to this than you have written. Two hunters did indeed go missing near Plainfield, but murder has never been confirmed, nor have any bodies been found. Besides, neither of them fit Gein's murder profile. He murdered Mary Hogan and Burnice Worden because they resembled his mother. The corpses he exhumed were also those of middle aged women.

i agree, i dont realy think gein killed the two hunters.

when the police found out about gein they tried to pin loads of murders and missing people on him (including the two hunters) but he kept denying it and the police eventually gave up as they didnt have any evidence to show it was gein, they just speculated that it was him.

The judge in Ed's 1968 trial is under the assumption that he did kill them. The story is that the missing hunter's were at a tavern at the same time Ed was there, one of the men had a large amount of money that he flashed around and Ed supposedly offered to show the 2 men where a good hunting spot is. Remember that not only did Ed take Bernice Worden home, but he also took the cash register. Even if he killed because of his twisted mother/son psych, he also would steal some money if he could get away with it. The judge also thinks that 160 acres (Gein's farm) is plenty of room to bury a car and Gein was a digger of exceptional qualifications. Even later in the 70's when Gein was asked about this his demeanor would change for the worst.

Of course there is still no proof. As for who he DID kill without question.

1-Bernice Worden
2-Mary Hogan
3-A teenage girl-In Ed's house a relatively fresh female sex organ was found and determined to be of a teenager. A check of the surrounding cemetaries showed that there were no girls of that age buried during the time in question-henceforth it came from a live victim rather than a buried corpse.

Was Gein the type of person that would confess to some crimes and not others?
I am sure this has been considered. But haven't read anything.

I personally believe his mind to be that fragmented, yes. Who knows what Gein was seeing as he did what he did...
