This needs to be on Blu-Ray

The American DVD release is just horrendous. It's 4:3 Fullscreen and it looks more like a VHS.
The German DVD release is way better, I have it. It's actually 16:9 Widescreen, and the picture is a lot better, plus it has some extras which aren't on the American DVD, one is a cool interview with Steve Railsback talking about the difference of playing Manson and Gein, how he didn't judge the characters during the role.
I would give anything for a proper Blu-Ray release though. I watch this as much as I watch Derranged. It's one of my favorite true crime/serial killer films.
I am curious about the company that owns it, apparently they don't do Blu-Rays, but maybe Shout! Factory could do the transfer justice.
I don't even care if it's a bare bones release, as long as it's a full 1080p transfer I would be happy.

I would agree with that. I'm not one of the HD snobs who isn't satisfied unless you can count the pimples on someone's face, but this film could've looked a lot better than it did.
