Shows with limited runs are starting to get released !

I have been following various shows on this site http://www.tvshowsondvd.com
and it seems like so many limited run shows are getting released that The Others may find its way to stores soon. This site has a nifty feature you can vote for shows that you would like to see released -- it is worth a shot !

Still following the progress of this unreleased show on http://www.tvshowsondvd.com it has a few more followers and it seems to be moving up a bit on the "unreleased" scale !!

It's the 382nd most requested unreleased show right now. That might sound low, but there are 8395 shows on the site. Also, more than 600 people have taken the time to register with the site and place their vote for this show in particular.

I keep my fingers crossed that one day there will be a note in my IN BOX from that site saying that the set is being released !!

Hopefully this will come out on DVD soon. I wouldn't go so far as to say that it is the best, or even one of the best, supernatural shows, but it was definitely a very entertaining and well written show. I loved it when it was on and was happy when they aired the episode "Mori" after the series finale. I don't think there are any unaired episodes of this show for the DVD to feature, but it is one of FEW short lived series to feature a conclusive ending...depressing though it was. I would also recommend the Skeet Ulrich show "Miracles," which IS available on DVD with 13 episodes, 7 of which were not aired in the US. It was a similar and very good show.

Hmm I never heard of the show Miracles - maybe I should give it a look - see I will check out Netflix to see if they have it - I think what I liked about the Others was that they went for the little shiver instead of the big gory thrills - I liked the characters a good deal and seeing some of the other shows that get renewed - I had high hopes that it could have limped into a second season.

Anyone seen any further information if the series is going to be released - now some limited run shows are being released "on demand" burned as requested
