I love the comics, but the show...

The show is ok, I've only seen it once, but i like the comics better. I had voices for all the characters in my head and the voices on the show don't really sound like how i had them in my head. Jughead sounds really weird!

I could only watch the show for ten minutes because I had to go to school, but I don't really watch it anymore. I like reading the comics better. I have a whole stack of them hehehe! lol!

But the show's ok.

i have to agree with you to some degree.

my wife has a bookshelf collection of old archie's comics and some new ones and if you have read the plots and lines in the comics, they're just about the same as in the "archies" series.

i have to agree from reading archie's for so long, i imagined the voices to theses characters to be different from the actual cast in the series.

the animation is cheessy, but its a freakin cartoon based on chessy artwork from its comics.

the plots are also cheesy but so is the plot in the comics that people have grown to love about ARCHIES and what made archie comics an american icon.

i love watching the tv series, i have it on my TiVO every weekend.

yeah i agree. i like it bcause its so cheesy. and if i had tivo, that show would be on it! if it comes on dvd, be sure that this would be on my netflix queue.

I should eat more, or I will end up like Lindsay Lohan. Anorexics Inflate!

Oh well, I have always been a huge fan of Archie comics all my life (Jughead is my favorite ) and even though I do agree as well that this show wasn't close to the story lines in the comics to some extent, it was still fun, and the characters were drawn as exactly as they were in the comic books.

My god, will Jughead ever get a girlfriend? I know he claims to not like girls but still??

Except for Betty, I think he likes her. Heck with Veronica Lodge, she is too shallow and perfect for Archie or Reggie, lol.

I like the show and the message it sends are good ones of course the comics are better.Some things are different though-example in the comics Reggie is in love with Midge but he barely notices her on this show.Jughead is pretty close to the real deal though.Not a bad version but I would like to see one that really reflects the comics better.
