Question for Vadim Jean or anyone else who thinks they might know.

After Sarah's funeral, Sam went home & there were suitcases just inside the door. He simply turned & sat on the stairs & that was that.

I'm assuming they're his suitcases & because he just sat there like he was taking it in, that his wife had packed them for him.

Does anyone else have any thoughts on this, & Vadim Jean if you happen to read this would you be able to enlighten me please?

They were supposed to be his wife's suitcases as she has decided to leave him... In fact the scene continued with her walking into the hall to take them but in the end I wanted it to be ambiguous so that people would discuss what they think she would have done...

Thankyou for that, it's a question that's been burning a whole in my mind for ages. I don't mind weighing things up for a while but sooner or later I just have to know.

Loved the movie by the way.
