This should have been aptly titled.....
"Hellraiser: Groundhog Day Inferno"
shareI think the movie might have been more interesting if it actually was a Hellraiserized version of Groundhog Day, with Joseph trying to right his wrongs each day, attempting to prevent the murders committed by his faceless doppelganger and ultimately save his spirit.
shareThat's the ultimate tragedy though isn't it? At the end of the film he's realised his mistakes, but no matter how much he perfects his routine, it doesn't matter because he's already dead and everyone in the living world will see him as a douche. People often only realise their mistakes when it's too late.
