An Idea for a Live Action Movie

Hi there. Thought about posting to inan's live-action movie post, but then decided to start a new one.

Idea?

I'd like to see either a live-action/CGI movie or a re-continuation of the series, having Doyle wake up from a cryo-sleep 25 years after the original GH cast graduate, taking place back in Plutor. Doyle Cleverlobe has to catch up to our times today. Mrs. McBrain informs Doyle he's two credits shy of graduation, and sets out on a mission (like Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure). Aimee, continuing her happily married and professional life as an astrophysicist back on Earth, wonders what ever happened to Doyle.

It's revealed that Doyle needed to pass Professor Icenstein's final on the last day of school back in June 1987 but was under the influence of sleeping pills drugged by Beef Bonk earlier that morning in the cafeteria off revenge he sought for another prank Beef pulled on him (involving medicated heating rub in a certain place) about to influence the outcome of a heated Zuggleball game that Doyle still won. We find Doyle stuffed inside Prof. Icenstein's lab coat closet! He is revived, thawed out, and almost eaten by the janitor (yes, Sludge) when he is saved by Milo's son! He's brought to Mrs. McBrain's office and up to speed on things by Mrs. McBrain.

She is about to release him to return to Earth when, after examining his school records, she informs him he's two credits shy of graduation. She tells him he has to pass the final. But the problem is.... Professor Icenstein no longer works for Galaxy High. She finds that Professor Icenstein was promoted to Emeritus at an Icy-League school in Nova England on Earth. But by Interstellar law he cannot return to Earth until he graduates Galaxy High, upon which he exclaims, "Oh brother. Talk about a mid-life crisis!"

Doyle is stuck on Plutor until after some struggle Ollie flies him to Earth with the promise of delivering him 'a dozen New York-style pizzas'. But it's revealed that a greedy energy magnate (later revealed to be Reggie Unicycle) kidnaps Professor Icenstein to involve him in a big energy harvesting scheme to force our now energy-starved universe into paying exorbitant prices for 'safer alternative' energy. Reggie has 'rediscovered' his crush for Aimee.

Doyle fakes an identity as exchange student Dirk Clockenheimer and soon gets a job... delivering pizzas...on his scooter which becomes... a spaceboard. Without any contacts on Earth, he must find the Professor to take his final...sadly Doyle cannot get out of himself. He makes a delivery to Galactic Grants (an alias for a big underground lab) to an office where he is met by...Dr. Aimee Brightower. They have a moment of deja vu there when in the background, the news reveals that Icenstein has disappeared. Doyle knows he's really stuck now, and Aimee's curiosity about Prof Icenstein gets the better of her. Soon she's on her way to save Professor Icenstein- Doyle is strung along unwillingly. And when the Space Pollution Control Patrol ship- run by the bored Beef Bonk gang- makes its appearance on Earth, Doyle finds he might have to form an unlikely alliance with them to get what he needs to pass- that final!

Can Doyle get over his ego to help save his old teacher and himself? Will Aimee reconnect with her old Professor? Can the GH cast find their own purpose in this new Earth world? And will the Earth and the universe be free of the clutches of the greedy Unicycle empire?
