I've watched this movie a couple of times, once a few years ago on one of the pay channels and again last night on a BlockBuster DVD. From some of the messages here and my memory of seeing it on TV, I think there might have been some scenes deleted from the DVD. Has anyone else noticed this, and if so, which DVD should I look for to get the full uneditied movie?

I just watched this movie by chance, finding it just starting on The Sundance Channel, where you'd think films would be shown unedited, and there was at least one scene completely gone.
While the power is off and the restaurant is lighted with candles there is a short scene of a young mother carrying a baby being shown past the bar with her husband. It's totally pointless, unless it connects to something later. In this edited version it does not connect with anything, and you never see those people again.
In the original full length movie, still during the power outage, Danny Aiello looks up from his table, does a little take and says, "Am I seein' what I'm seein'?" His partner looks over and there sits the woman, lifting her sweater, exposing her nipple (for about a millionth of a second) and commencing to breast feed her baby. Discreetly, but in public, right there in his restaurant.
Sundance. You'd think they wouldn't be so prudish as to cut a few seconds like that, in a movie in which they later show two brutal murders in super-slo-mo. When did breast feeding become non-PC?

P.S. You asked about different versions on DVD. I have the original on VHS tape, which is where I just verified this scene. Maybe it was deleted when the DVD was published, and Sundance never saw the original.
I've watched this movie on Sundance (including this evening) and the breast-feeding scene is included.
shareNot only is the breast-feeding scence included in the Sundance showing (June 23 app 1012pm). I just watched the scene annnnnd...They even show the rather large nipple being placed in the baby's mouth.
