I came by this movie at the middle of the night, and was surprised to see one of the better movies i have ever seen. this movie, although it has a very well-known\worn-out plot for some strange reason that i can not explain i found this movie to be incredible... it doesn't have amazing special effects, nor superb acting but it realy hits the spot... i honistly proclaim this movie the best movie u can possibly see in the middle in the night when the world is asleep but u are still up... (this is a complimant!!!!)

Dangit! I can't find this movie anywhere! I'm trying to special order it, we have Hastings, Blockbuster, Hollywood Video and a couple of 5*Star videostores and they all suck!

What is this movie about? I've never seen it and I doubt I'll be able to find it at my local video store. There also isn't a synopsis on the main page.

I found it in a blockbuster store looking around aimlessly for anything vaguely interesting. I was confused as to why there was this movie and another one with the same title. Decided to see if they had made a remake five years subsequent, but was not surpirsed when I found I was wrong. There definitely is something about this movie that just works. Don't know what though.

what Blockbuster store is that? I can only find it on Blockbuster online, I might have to rent it through there.

Let me be a bit surprised that you find it is not superb acting, as it is outstanding acting!

And yes, that movie is just incredible!
Light and deep, funny and sad, stylish and old-fashioned...
And the cast, again, is just spot on!
The plot is fantastic, the way it is filmed, the directing, the editing...
It doesn't take itself seriously, but it is just fabulous!

Umm, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang (2005) is one of my favorite movies of all time.
And what you've said about this fits the 2005 one too!
So I'm just wondering if it's basicly the same movie as the 2005.
Thinking about watching this one someday, but I don't think
it'll beat the Val Kilmer/Robert Downey Jr. one though.

Seriously, you have to see it!
I haven't seen the American version yet and I plan to see it too.
We'll exchange our opinions then!

I don't know if you can find it though... I had a hard time getting it! but it was sooooooooooo worth it!
