This movie would've been better with Kurt...

When I first found out about this movie I was like gotta see it! Cube with Natasha, Mars, Freaks! Must watch. But watching it and noticing more so over the years. I noticed I didnt like Cube in this. Dont get me a wrong I used to be such a huge fan but in this movie he's ugly, he doesnt go well with the movie, and his acting has got to be one of the worst I've ever seen. This movie is begging to be with Kurt Russell though I can see him being casted wouldve been too much of an escape replica it wouldve been way more bad ass with him in it than with Cube. Russell instead of O'shea wouldve meshed a lot better for me and also Thomas Ian Griffith as Big Daddy Mars. Not to say the actor wasn't great but it was almost a copy of Valek and I liked How Ian played Valek. To me he has the best vampire look of all-time. I would've loved to see more of him and his interpretation of Big Daddy Mars would've been interesting.

“Casted?”

Proof-read, much?

I think this film would have been awesome in the 80's, and if Carpenter had made it in the 80's Kurt Russell would have been Ice Cube's character.

Unfortunately, we were given 2001's Carpenter and Ice Cube, so it turned out to be kind of silly.

Your probably right but I'm fine for when it came out as it was in my generation. The only problem with Russell Being in this is that it's too similar to Snake and we'd be just saying it's a copy instead of just accepting him taking another similar role and if it had been just another snake film it wouldn't have been as original and probably wouldn't have made sense in mars and though I really like that in many Of Carpenter's films there is no romance elements as it gets old. Here I would've liked it as I'm both a big fan of Russell and Natasha. L.A. wasnt that far off so its not out of the realm that it couldn't've been made in that era. But then again L.A. didnt do so well.

It's just that seeing that character it definitely felt a lot like Snake. Just badly performed. Had it been by Russell it would've been bad ass instead of annoying.
