According to the trivia section, Courtney Love was to play the lead.
Thank god for Henstridge!

The movie is good for a Carpenter flick. Just watch with a beer in your hand and enjoy it.

She had to leave the project because someone ran over her foot.
interesting - thats not what Peter Jason says on the Village Of The Damned bluray
she was let go because she wasnt up to it, acting wise after a couple of weeks of rehearsals.

I would hate the movie if Courtney was in it. Damn, she is fugly.

Rated R Horror movies are better, no matter the argument.

I agree. I never knew back then but had I seen her in the trailer I would've skipped it big time.

Once I knew it had Natasha I had to see it and was pleasantly pleased!

I am now a fan of Courtney by the way but I wouldnt have liked her in this movie. Natasha is way hotter and better.
