I liked this movie except for one thing.

I liked this movie a lot. Felix went off to find his father and found a whole family. It was really nice and cute...but one thing bothered me. Why did he have to sleep with that guy? He has a boyfriend, Daniel. I was impressed when he didn't sleep with that kid...but I'm sorry that scene ruined the film for me. There was no regret or anything. Just an open-relationship - which I just don't get. And we wonder why disease spreads so easily.

:(

Otherwise, I loved the film.

Open relationships are a bit more common with gay male couples, so I think the filmmakers were just depicting something that happens. They went out of their way to show that Felix really loved Daniel. As far as disease--they did use a condom.

Maybe it was all part of his journey, you know? Like part of (re)discovering himself..

And yeah, the definitely used a condom - the train worker guy throws it into the bushes and Felix tells him off for littering :D

I love this film too!!

I have to agree. I really enjoyed the movie until that point. It was a cheerful adventure movie then that scene happened and left a bad taste for the remainder of the film. Even though I'm gay I still think the concept of open relationships is gross.

I think it doesn't only happen in gay relationships. It's life, little adventures happen everywhere, everyone has his point of view, whether correct or not, it happens, it's life, it's real, like this film, which I loved!

Well, maybe you girls can go to mass and cleanse your delicate selves with holy water for having had to sit through something quite so wicked.

Yeah...coz having a moral backbone is so old fashioned and dated.*sarcasm*

But it's OK that the woman he chose to be his "sister" had three sons by three different fathers, a daughter by another father, and yet another childless "father" living with her?

The part you have a problem with is the sex that didn't produce any kids to be raised in an unstable environment?
