Was this the first public release of the Twilight Zone death footage?

To my knowledge, this was the first public release of the Twilight Zone footage.

I remember seeing this on VHS when it was first released and I SWEAR you could see Vic Morrow and the two child actors having their heads separated from their bodies in the split screen scenes.
