Affecting

Have seen 2 of the 3 in this series and you really need a day to recover. you feel empty and just drained after viewing. mortality hits home.

i did skip over some rather long segments involving car crashes (they explained that these old reels were used in high schools back in the day to promote safe driving habits) because it got a bit monotonous.
i also bypassed the autopsy part as i felt is was far too gruesome (and very long) and only of real value/interest to medical students.

am now mentally preparing to watch the last installment. i keep hoping i'll and up desensitized to a degree, and maybe i have been, but not to the extent i would like. horrific is horrific.
